Wayne Rooney has called fiancee Coleen McLoughlin’s bluff after she boasted how brave she was recently and has bought her six parachuting lessons for Christmas.

A source told the Sun: Wayne has been thinking about a good present for Coleen’s Christmas for a while. She was having a laugh, boasting about how brave she is - and he was winding her up, saying she was a chicken at heart.”

“Coleen said she had the bottle to do a parachute jump but Wayne wasn’t having it.”

“He’s got a course booked for her now so he’ll find out soon enough if she has the nerve.”

“He wanted to give it a try as well but [Manchester United manager] Sir Alex Ferguson, his agent and his insurers might have something to say about it.”
