It doesn’t sound like Naomi Campbell had a good night at the Led Zeppelin reunion gig in London on Monday: first she was nearly strangled when an overexcited audience member tried to steal her VIP pass - then someone did steal her mobile phone.

Naomi was watching the legendary band at the O2 Arena when another fan lunged for her pass. The supermodel called for security to help her as she was pulled backwards into the crowd by the head and neck, as the fan pulled at the chain holding the pass around her neck.

The audience member appeared to be wanting the pass as a souvenir of the gig but with the help of stewards, Naomi managed to struggle free.

But then at the after-show party in the venue’s Indigo room, much to her dismay, her beloved Blackberry went missing.

An onlooker told the Mirror: “As soon as she realised her stuff was missing she started screaming and shouting and wildly pointed in the direction of where Dave Grohl was sitting, screeching, ‘Have they got it, have they got it?’”

But the Foo Fighters star didn’t have have it and now Naomi is worried about the fall out. Sources close to the model explained: “Naomi is terrified her phone is in the wrong hands. Her contacts list is like a Who’s Who.”

“She’s [also] got a secret new love and is desperately trying to keep the whole thing quiet. This is the last thing she wants as she’s determined to keep his identity under wraps.”

“The thought of someone rifling through all her personal and intimate emails and texts is really upsetting.”

Naomi’s spokesperson confirmed the theft, saying: “It was a massive inconvenience for Naomi. She still enjoyed the show though.”

  • In another snippet of related news, Kate Moss reportedly stood up the McCartney family after the gig. Kate was supposed to meet friend Stella McCartney and her dad Paul McCartney in the arena’s VIP bar but when the supermodel didn’t show up, Stella was overheard shouting into her mobile phone: “Kate where are you? What do you mean you’re in the cool bar - this is the cool bar!”
