• Katie Price has been ordered to pay her former nanny £4000 in compensation for unfair dismissal after her firing was filmed and broadcast as part of the glamour model’s The Baby Diaries reality series. Viewers saw Katie, aka Jordan, stuffing Rebecca Gauld’s possessions into a bin bag after a row over time off then kicking her out of the cottage where she lived for 18 months while caring for Katie’s children Harvey and Junior. Rebecca told an employment tribunal in London yesterday: “I was very distressed by the events of the day - having lost my job and my home. The presence of the television cameras added to this distress.”
  • Shia LaBeouf will no longer face public misdemeanor charges after being arrested for trepassing at a Walgreens store in Chicago last month. The Transformers star is said to have been drunk and refused to leave the shop when asked to do so by security staff, who then called the police. Shia was removed from the premises and arrested but now a Chicago court has dropped the charges. His lawyer said yesterday that Shia was delighted with the news: “He is happy to put this behind him and get back to work.”
