Between her career as a glamour model, her reality TV shows and all her various revelations about her love life with husband Peter Andre, it’s hard to imagine Katie Price getting embarrassed about anything but she’s revealed she does get coy about one thing - her periods.

She told Cosmopolitan magazine recently: “The only thing that embarrasses me is buying tampons. I’ve always been mortified about people knowing it’s my time of the month.”

But the mother of three doesn’t have any choice about at least one person knowing: “My mum - and she does this to my sister, as well - texted me yesterday to say, ‘You were supposed to come on today. Have you?’ I’m 29 years old and I’ve got my mum keeping a diary of when I’m supposed to start my period!”
