Kevin Federline’s lawyer is reportedly set to ask the judge overseeing Kevin’s custody case with Britney Spears to restrict Britney’s future requests to the court until she submits herself to a deposition.

After three previously stalled attempts over the past year, Britney was expected to finally sit down on Wednesday to answer questions under oath as part of the ongoing custody trial but ducked out at the last minute, claiming all the media attention surrounding the event caused her acute anxiety.

Immediately after her no-show, Kevin’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan said that he was planning to go to the Los Angeles Superior Court to ask for “relief” and his efforts are said to have intensified after Britney was spotted out and about with friends later that evening.

Sources close to Kevin’s legal team explained: “He didn’t believe she was ill, he thinks she’s just messing them around. She’s probably scared about what she’ll have to admit.”

Kaplan is likely to ask the court to refuse to discuss any further visitation rights or changes to the custody agreement until after Britney sits for the deposition and determines whether or not she is capable of being a responsible mother.

Kaplan is also likely to ask for the Gimme More singer to pay costs incurred due to Wednesday’s abandoned meeting, including legal fees.
