• Pamela Anderson has said she’s trying to “work things out” with husband Rick Salomon even though she filed for divorce from her husband of two month last week. Pamela added the line “PS. We’re working things out…” at the end of a blog post she made yesterday as news broke about her divorce plans, suggesting their “irreconcilable differences” might not be so “irreconcilable” as she first thought. The legal papers were filed on Friday, giving their date of separation as Thursday 13th.
  • Amy Winehouse is in police custody after voluntarily submitting herself for police questioning today. According to a police spokesperson, Amy was “arrested by appointment at an East London police station. She is currently in custody. The arrest was in connection with an investigation into perverting the course of justice.”
  • Prince Edward and wife Sophie, the Countess of Wessex have become parents for the second time after Sophie gave birth to a baby boy yesterday afternoon. The baby, whose name has yet to be revealed, was born by Caesarian section at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey and weighed in at 6lbs, 2oz. A Buckingham Palace spokesperson confirmed the birth, saying that the family are “thrilled, absolutely thrilled” by the new addition to their family and that Sophie is “doing very well”. The couple already have a four year old daughter, Louise and the new baby is the Queen’s eighth grandchild and eighth in line to the throne.
