Katherine Heigl: I can’t wait to get married and start a family

Katherine Heigl has said she can’t wait for her wedding day later this month because not only will she be able to stop worrying about the organisation of it all, she and fiance Josh Kelley will be able to start thinking about starting their family.

The Knocked Up star told Extra recently: “I’m mostly panicking about all the details, and getting there, traveling, transportation, talking to the pastor, getting the license,”

“We’ve talked a lot about it, like, ‘Are you having any second thoughts here?’ And he’s like, ‘No, I’m so ready for this to happen.’ It’s already been 18 months of planning, and we’re both just ready for this to happen already.”

But she worries about “not being present in the moment, you know? Like, building it up so much you can’t really enjoy the moment you’re in.”

After the couple exchange their vows, they’re not planning to let much time pass before starting work on their first child - Katherine says she’d like to be a mum within the year: “I’m super excited to start a family. I’ve always wanted a family, a large family. But I say that now!”
