Would someone please sit down with the young ladies of the Spears family and talk to them about condoms? Or the pill? Or if they’re too much regular responsibility, an implant or an IUD/IUS?

First, Britney has two sons in quick succession but seems unable to care for them at this point in her life and has since been pretty much constantly dogged with new pregnancy rumours - and now her little sister Jamie Lynn is said to be pregnant at 16. It upsets me and not just because I’ve been writing up this story instead of going to bed.

On a lighter note though, I was so tempted to include the line “It is not known whether former brother-in-law Kevin Federline and his super sperm had anything to do with the pregnancy”…
