Lily Allen has revealed she’s three months pregnant with her first child.

Lily and boyfriend Ed Simons found out about the pregnancy last month but only publicly confirmed the news yesterday after rumours began to circulate.

Lily’s spokesperson said: “I am pleased to confirm that Lily and Ed are expecting their first baby.”

“The health of Lily and her child is their paramount concern. As the pregnancy is at such an early stage the couple will be making no further comment, but they are obviously thrilled by the news.”

A source close to the 22 year old singer told the Sun: “Lily is thrilled to be pregnant and can’t wait to become a mum. She’s a real family person.”

“Ed’s very happy [too]. He is really looking after her.”

“It’s the icing on the cake for what has been an incredible 18 months for her. She is looking forward to finishing her new album early next year and releasing it before the birth of her first child.”

Lily began dating Chemical Brothers star Ed over the summer after splitting from long-term boyfriend Seb Chew.
