Christina Aguilera is reportedly set to become a mum by 10th January at the latest after scheduling a Caesarian section for that date.

A source told the New York Post: “Christina has a C-section scheduled for January 10 but she might need to push the date of the delivery up.”

Either way she plans to have the baby by Caesarian: “she and [husband Jordan Bratman] have discussed the options with doctors and everyone thinks that’s the best way to go.”

After holding a blue-themed baby shower last month and Christina refers to her bump as “little Jordan“, Christina is thought to be expecting a baby boy and the couple are said to be considering the names Jackson, Jake or Max - but nothing is set in stone yet: “Although Christina and Jordan want to make up their minds on a name before the birth, part of them wants to wait and see what the baby’s personality is like before assigning a name for life.”

The source added that as well as Christmas and New Year before her big day, Christina is planning another baby shower over the next fortnight: “Christina will be having a second baby shower at the Hotel Bel-Air over Christmas with just her friends.”
