Katie Holmes: Tom’s other children call me “mom” too

Katie Holmes has revealed that her step-children, Bella and Connor Cruise, call her “mom”.

Katie told Parade magazine recently that husband Tom Cruise is a “great father” to the two children from his previous marriage to Nicole Kidman as well as to his daughter with Katie, Suri Cruise.

She said the older children - Bella turns 15 this month while Connor is nearly 13 - are “incredible, really smart and kind”: “They call me ‘Mom’.”

She added that she was looking forward to spending Christmas with the pair as well as other members of both her and Tom’s families at the couple’s Colorado ranch - but doubts it’ll beat last Christmas: “Last year was Suri’s first Christmas. It was so spectacular to share the holidays with her. It really meant the world to me. To be able to create a tradition for your children is one of the best gifts you can have.”

face it. you are not their mother. Only a control freak would allow this. That includes both Tom Cruise and yourself. I am a step mum. First rule is you do not allow this. You are their friend,playing a supportive role. not their mum. They only have one real mother and that is Nicole Kidman. You should be so ASHAMED of yourself Katie!!!

well said annie! katie might be a good and kind girl but definitely she isn’t tom’s children’s mom. she and tom want to humiliate nicole as bella and conor don’t call her mom or whatever, but one thing is for sure she will never love them as much as she loves suri while nicole would die for them because she IS their mom

WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE ON!!! Tom Cruies is a total prat, Nicole is well rid and hes clearly brainwashed Katie Holmes!
I’m a stepmom and would never dream of expecting my stepkids to call me mum, they already have a mum and I’m sure she’d be hurt if they called anyone else mum!
My daughter calls her stepdad papa cos hes been her ‘dad’ since she was 4 (shes 20 now) and her dad hasn’t been around for 15 years but she wouldn’t call her stepdad Dad as that is what his own kids call him.
