Helen Mirren has said she can’t understand why so many Hollywood stars get boob jobs given how bad they look when they’re bodged.

She said recently: “Breast implants are weird to me. They seem a bit like hanging a pair of oranges round your neck.”

But that’s not to say she’s completely against all cosmetic surgery: “I absolutely believe in surgery. Why feel miserable if you can change something?”

She has previously said she would have liposuction on her “chunky legs” if she felt she needed it but would rather stick to less drastic measures for as long as possible.
