Lynne Spears pushed daughters in fame; “treats them like a piggy bank”

Lynne Spears Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears‘ mum Lynne has been accused of money grabbing behaviour and pushing her unwilling younger daughter into a life of celebrity.

A source close to the family told Us Weekly that Lynne “treats her girls like a piggy bank.”

“Lynne got all her money through those girls and loved it when it started rolling in. She’s the only one with a Land Rover in [their home town in Louisiana] Kentwood.”

The source explained that Lynne made sure she received a percentage of money from all sorts of deals during Britney’s heyday and as her older daughter’s career started to slow down, she looked to younger daughter Jamie Lynn instead.

Jamie Lynn’s Zoey 101 co-star Alexa Nikolas told the magazine that Jamie Lynn wasn’t looking for stardom: “Jamie wanted something different for her life, and her mom put her in situations she didn’t want to be in. She never cared about celebrity.”

The family source added that it was Lynne’s, rather than Jamie Lynn’s, decision to announce the 16 year old’s pregnancy in an exlusive interview: “Lynne knew OK! would pay the most. It was her decision.”

They didn’t even tell Britney about the baby until after the interview was released because “they didn’t want her to screw up the deal.”

The girls’ father Jamie Spears is said to be “still furious” with the decision to sell the story and spent the Christmas season working as a private chef around Los Angeles rather than “profit off of his children”.

A source added: “He doesn’t get a dime from his daughters. He busts his ass to take care of himself. That’s why he’s so furious with Lynne.”

WOW, about time they got on Lynn’s case. Isnt this the truth. Brit and Jamie should really ally with their Dad although hes not much better it seems Lynn is gonna get the blame on this one !! haha about time the parents took some responsibility on this mess

I’ve always liked Britney and her mother has always been prominent in their lives and it seems like she has cashed from both of her daughters lives. Maybe this is what Britney needs to be able to get better. It seems Lynn she turned a blind eye to her daughters cry for attention and went after the money, which Jamie would bring in as Britney has cut Lynn out of her life and won’t be giving her any more of her earnings. Now with her cashing off her Jamie’s pregnancy she has proved it true.
