Gwyneth Paltrow has been left with permanent numbness in one of her legs after damaging her knee on the set of Iron Man. The actress bravely tried to act on through the pain, unaware that the injury needed surgery.

She says, “I broke my knee - because I’m a moron and I’m always bashing into things by accident. I’ve broken my toes 30 times. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I bashed my knee, it really hurt.”

The accident even caused her to come to blows with the film’s director, Jon Favreau, who thought she was exaggerating how much pain she was in. Paltrow explains, “I kept exercising and running around in the movie. Then it really started to expand.”

“In one scene I’m running away from Ironmonger - the bad Iron Man - and I said to Jon, ‘My knee is really hurting, I don’t know how many times I can do this.’ He was rolling his eyes, saying ‘you’re fine’.”

“But I went to the doctor and I had a fracture so bad they had to do surgery the next day. They put cement in there! So I felt very smug and he apologized. It still doesn’t feel right. I had a nerve problem. My legs don’t feel the same. Sometimes it happens with surgery. If I get a wax, one leg hurts more than the other.”

Music producer Mark Ronson is dating model Daisy Lowe and her mother Pearl is as happy about it as he is!

Speaking last night at the launch of the Crisis Consequences charity record at Rough Trade East in Brick Lane, Pearl said: “When she told me she was with Mark I said, ‘Wow, he’s cute’. She just said ‘Mummy’ in a scolding tone.”

Pearl was asked whether she had concerns about her daughter going out with a man 13 years her senior, but said “I’ve got no problem with the age gap… he’s a gentleman and he’s really looking after her.

“I could imagine them being together in the long term. The only thing that could come between them is that they both work really hard.”

Ronson is currently busy working with Amy Winehouse on the theme song for the next James Bond film, Quantum Of Solace.

There is no guarantee that their song will be used in the film, but Ronson said: “Hopefully it will get used. We’re working on it and we’ll see happens.

“I’m sure there are loads more really famous people that probably we’re competing with, and we don’t know about. I’m not sure.”

Robbie Williams is taking a break from making music but has found something new to occupy his time… a brunette called Suzanne.

There’s no doubting that Robbie has gained some weight over the last few months but it doesn’t seem to be harming his love life: the pair have been snapped kissing after a game of golf and have been seen out having dinner together in LA.

He met the 26 year old talent agency account executive through mutual friends at the Beverly Hills Country Club and they have been dating for about a couple of months.

A source told the Daily Mail: “Robbie really likes her. They are taking it slow at the moment to see how things go but they have been out for a few low-key dinners at STK and Maestros in recent weeks.”

“Robbie likes to be a private person, so sometimes prefers having dinner with her at home. He is smitten with this one and people are saying that she could be the one.”

CSI actor Gary Dourdan has been arrested for possession of narcotics and prescription drugs.

The 41 year old actor, who plays Warrick Brown in hit show, was arrested and found to have drugs suspected to be cocaine, ecstasy, heroin and prescription drugs.

According to law enforcement sources in Palm Springs, they found Dourdan asleep in his car at 5:21am. A spokesperson for the Palm Springs Police Department described him as “disoriented and possibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs” at the time of arrest and added: “The officer subsequently located suspected cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, miscellaneous prescription drugs, and paraphernalia.”

Dourdan was released on $5000 bail and is awaiting a court date.

He is expected to leave the show after the finale of series 15 this May.

Jennifer Lopez has denied rumours that her forthcoming show is going to be a reality show with cameras following her and her family’s every move.

Her manager, Simon Fields, says that the show Jennifer plans to produce for TLC is “a show that will track the creation, production and eventual launch of a new fragrance. Jennifer will appear in a creative, entrepreneurial capacity and will absolutely not feature her children and family life.”

There is no broadcast date set as yet but Fields says it will be aired this year.

Kate has been a loyal fangirl of the site since we first bombarded her with the links back when we first started it back in the day and now she’s come on board as a writer to let me concentrate on the editing/development side of things (we’ve got some exciting developments set to happen in the very near future). She also takes us one day closer to that beautiful day when maybe, just maybe, we’ll get an office dog.

She’ll be writing on random days in May then hopefully we’ll settle down into a regular pattern in June.
