Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil has reportedly admitted he turned the singer onto drugs.

Throughout their 18 month marriage, Team Amy have frequently claimed Blake introduced her to drugs and other destructive habits while Team Blake, primarily his parents, have claimed the reverse is true.

However, now in a taped interview transcribed in the News of the World, Blake is said to have admitted Amy became intrigued after he used heroin and crack in front of her: “I made the biggest mistake of my life by taking heroin in front of her.

“I introduced her to heroin, crack cocaine and self-harming. I feel more than guilty.

“Heroin and crack took hold of me and f***** me up. It made me not look out for the woman that I love more than anyone else in the world.

“The first time Amy took crack she [had] asked me, ‘Can I try a bit of that’.

“Crack is the nastiest drug. It makes you paranoid, unreasonable, edgy and totally suspicious of everyone. And you can get hooked on it straight away. But I was weak and an addict and I let Amy take some.

“I didn’t stop it from happening. For that I take full responsibility. It became something we did as well as heroin. And then our lives fell apart.

Guy Ritchie is reportedly planning on using some of his lump-sum gift from his divorce settlement from Madonna to open a traditional pub in New York.

The Snatch director is expected to be spending more time in the US as soon-to-be ex-wife Madonna wants the city to be the permanent base for their children. Under the terms of their custody agreement, the couple will share custody of their sons, eight year old Rocco and three year old David, and Guy will also have access to his step-daughter Lourdes, who has lived with him at the family’s former home in London for most of her 12 years. The boys will divide their time between the US and London but sources close to Guy say he wants to see them on their new home turf as well as when they visit him in the UK so has appointed real estate agents to look out for suitable properties.

A source told the Sunday Mirror that the purchase is as much a business venture as anything, inspired by the success of his Mayfair pub, The Punchbowl: “A lot of New Yorkers told Punchbowl staff they wish they had something like that over there.

“And if Guy has business in New York he would have a great excuse to have proper days out with the kids. He dreads the idea of becoming an ‘occasional dad’.”

Guy, who is said to be worth around £30million, received a “sweetner” of around £2million as part of their divorce settlement. He also was awarded the couple’s country estate in Wiltshire, valued at around £11million.

Sienna Miller has reportedly told on-off boyfriend Balthazar Getty that she wants a bit of old fashioned romance now they’re back together.

The pair began dating in June and were quickly rumoured to be planning on moving in together - although Brothers & Sisters star Balthazar didn’t announce his separation from his wife until the following month. By the start of November though, the couple were said to have been on the verge of splitting after Sienna felt Balthazar wanted to return to his wife and their four children - and soon afterwards, Sienna confirmed they’d split. However, just a fortnight later, the couple were spotted out and about together in London this week, dog walking and dining together.

A source told the Mirror that their lunch date at Italian restaurant San Lorenzo was part of Sienna’s request to do things properly this time: “Like any woman, Sienna wants to be wooed.

“She’s told him it’s time they got back to basics and started taking things more slowly.

“That means nice meals out, romantic dinner dates - wholesome stuff that they can enjoy together.

“She’s also joked that he should start sending her more flowers and leaving cute love notes around for her.

“Balthazar has taken it on board and is doing his best to court her in the manner of a 19th-century English gent. Sienna finds it hilarious.”

The source added that Sienna is adamant that Balthazar leaves his past relationship behind him now he’s with her: “Sienna and Balthazar have an unwritten rule that he is not to mention his wife by name.

“They are simply trying to move on with their lives as a couple and make a fresh start.”

Kate Moss has reportedly revealed why she and boyfriend Jamie Hince stepped out looking a little roughed up this week.

Kate was spotted with a scratched cheek and The Kills guitarist Jamie with a black eye at Stella McCartney’s festive event at her store in Mayfair, London.

According to the Mail on Sunday, she told fellow party goers they’d been arguing over their Christmas plans and how to decorate the home they share in St John’s Wood: “We had a bit of a scuffle and I was wearing a chunky ring, which caught him right in the eye. It’s all OK now, though.

“We fight and we have our ups and downs - like anyone, really.”

The eavesdropping source added: “It’s odd because they were arm in arm while they discussed having a fistfight just 24 hours previously.”

I’m worried how much Britney Spears is being bigged up by everyone of late.

Her miming and not-show-stopping dancing on the X Factor yesterday wasn’t particularly exceptional - but she got a standing ovation from The X Factor’s judge. She’s received similar reactions whenever she’s performed or appeared recently and her MTV VMAs & MTV Europe Awards successes seemed a little too easy.

I appreciate that she’s not had a great few years and she’s been battling some demons, and I, as much as anyone, want her to get back on top mentally (I’m not so bothered about her professional comeback but if she needs that to be happy, then I guess so be it) - but I worry that this type of bolstering is just storing up trouble for the future.

It’s great that she feels loved and wanted by the pop world - but as the overly-exaggerated cheerleading continues, it seems increasingly false. If she bases her self-esteem on that then realises it’s false, she’ll crash down again. She’ll feel used by her management/record company and the cycle will repeat itself.

Britney Spears performed in the UK for the first time in years last night on ITV1’s The X Factor.

After the show’s remaining contestants had sung their versions of Britney’s biggest hits, the star performed her new single ‘Womanizer’ and received a standing ovation from the talent show judges, despite miming and spending a lot of time walking back and forth around the wide stage.

‘Womanizer’ is the first single from her new album ‘Circus’, which is released in the UK tomorrow.
