Kevin Federline offers to support Jamie Lynn Spears during pregnancy

Britney Spears‘ might not be totally happy with the news that her 16 year old sister Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant but her ex-husband Kevin Federline is reportedly keen to help out.

While their custody battle has caused Britney and Kevin to grow further apart, Kevin has bonded with Britney and Jamie Lynn’s family over the care of sons Jayden and Sean - and now wants to help support Jamie Lynn too.

A family source told OK magazine: “Kevin has long thought of Jamie Lynn as a little sister. [At first] he was heartbroken [about the pregnancy] because he was concerned about what it would mean for Jamie Lynn’s future. [But now] he just wants to be part of the support system.”

Kevin is said to have been told about the pregnancy before Britney in case he was needed to step in to look after the singer and their children. Jamie Lynn is due to give birth to the child late next spring.

Just leave her alone shel be a beter mum than most out there. just because shes 16 doesnt make her an infant and shes loaded. theres woman out there 30 odds scrimpin n scrapin n will never be able to give there kids the kind of life she can.

ok so shes having a baby its not like anyones perfect. shes taking the responsiblity and keeping it.and yea so shes not going to be the perfect role model for lil kids but what about all those teens that have gotten pregnant they need a role model too. someone to show that you don’t have to give up on urs dreams if u have a baby. i think she will do just fine

i am not going to talk bad about JLS she does have the right to have a kid but i have to say i don’t think she is a good role model now because she has the money for a kid but not everyone is like her and kids will go out and start smacking bellies because she did and we will have neglected children run and around and a bigger drop out rate because kids won’t finish school but other than that she is awesome and as for brit she has the right to do what she does i really wish she would straighten up i would hate to see a girl that i grew up listning to and probably one of the first pop star girl that i was in love with i mean we are the same age i just hate seeing her go down this path i would hate to see brit die of overdose so everybody pray for britney and help her get over her big drug prob hopefully it just like weed or something and if that is the case leave her alone she probably smarter because she is a pot head. GET BETTER BRIT

Jamie Lynn Spears is a kid. It’s a teen who’s life is in distress and I hope she does not become like her older sister Britney. But, Britney can now take the time to reflect upon all of this and straighten up and strengthen herself because of this new event. This is going to change the Spears lives forever. I hope all the best for them. I pray for them too. It’s not easy to be a celebrity. You have no privacy and when you do one thing the whole world knows and it’s a crime. Let’s hope that they will learn from this experience and have better discernment next time.

I think that that just because shes a celebrity doesn’t mean that she has to be criticised about it! I mean really how many 16 year olds are pregnat out there and none of then get judged about it. So she made a mistake it doesn’t mean that shes a bad role model or is a w***e cause shes not. From what I see everyone needs to stop treating her like a criminal and start giving her some support look how much she has to go through the way it is I am sure she gets enough for what her sister does i don’t think she needs to get lectured for something like this!!! I THINK SHE’LL BE A GOOD MOM! A LOT BETTER THEN HER SISTER!

umm well i guess it wasnt a smart idea but the baby daddy is at blame too. but nobody is blmaing or talking about him….and britney isnt a bad mom she loves those boys more than anything and i think that since her daddy is taking over her money and helping her shes getting back on track she doesnt hang out with sam or douchebag adnan so she is on track umm shes not pregnant so she gonna get better she is already in the process we all love brit brit and she is a great mother she would die for her boys and if jamie lynn learned anything from her sister it is how to be a great mother yea she is not a great role model but im 17 and i have 2 boys and yea im young and all but i was kicked out my mom never was home she was a pot head and the only dads i had were the ones my mom brought home at night so getting pregnant was a mistake but my babies were a unplanned miracle so for all those dumbasses out there britney is amazing and i hope you get better imma pray for both of you good luck jamie lynn and britney ;hearts:
