Ashlee was snapped with a shiny new diamond on her ring finger while out with Pete in Miami on Monday, sparking rumours that the Fall Out Boy star had proposed while the couple were in Texas celebrating Christmas at Ashlee’s family home.

However, Ashlee’s rep has told Us Weekly that the two are definitely “not engaged” and the ring was just a Christmas present from a boyfriend to his girlfriend.
