Separated from her imprisoned husband Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy is said to have flown out to Mustique last weekend with the hope that friends would join her in time for New Year’s Eve on Monday.

But a source told the Sun that her friends were worried about what celebration plans she had in mind: “They didn’t want to be with her unless she was serious about sorting herself out - and she didn’t seem to be.”

“She should have used the time to get clean and find new focus in one of the most beautiful places in the world.”

“Instead she has just looked forward to getting home - and getting wasted.”
