Alesha DixonIt looks like winning Strictly Come Dancing might have boosted Alesha Dixon’s love life as well as her pop career: Little Britain star David Walliams has reportedly been pursuing her for a date this week.

A friend of Alesha’s told the Sunday Mirror that the pair met at a New Year’s party last weekend and David has phoned her a couple of times since then to ask her out: “She’s flattered, but she’s been too busy.”

Another source told the People newspaper though that she may have turned down the date because she’d rather pursue another option - Eastenders star Rob Kazinsky.

Alesha met Rob - who plays Sean Slater - at another party over the festive season and the pair are said to have gone on their first date last night: “It’s very early days yet but the feeling is mutual - they fancy each other like mad.”

“When Rob was told Alesha liked him and asked if he wanted to go on a date with her, he was over the moon. He’d just been telling a pal that he was going to ask her out.”

“They then arranged a hot date. Alesha is head-over-heels already.”

“Alesha hasn’t felt this excited about a bloke since [meeting ex-husband MC Harvey].”
