George Clooney has publicly offered his congratulations to friend Nicole Kidman after she confirmed her pregnancy yesterday.

Speaking at the Critics’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles last night, George said that like Nicole and her husband Keith Urban, he is “thrilled” by the news that she’s expecting.

He added: “[She’ll be] a perfect mother. She’ll be great. She’ll be a tall mother.”
