Mischa Barton has revealed it’s difficult to find a good boyfriend in Hollywood.

The former OC star explained recently: “Finding prospective boyfriends in Hollywood can be difficult. I have met a lot of idiots but that comes with the territory.”

But she thinks she’s mostly been “lucky in love”: “Personally, I’ve been in love more than once which I think is hard to come by. Once you have been in love a few times you know the pitfalls and you know what to watch out for.”

Mischa, who was arrested on a DUI charge last month, has been single since splitting from boyfriend Cisco Adler last year but knows what to look out for in a potential suitor: “I’d like someone who makes me laugh. I like an intellectual guy, because I love to read. If they like movies, books and music, we’re pretty alright. And I’d like someone who’s mature. God, I can’t take another immature person!”

“I [also] don’t accept bullsh*t from people. I have a very tight circle of friends who have a good radar for people who are out for the wrong things.”
