Christian SlaterChristian Slater has said he’s “never been happier” than he is in his relationship with Jimmy Choo founder Tamara Mellon.

The couple started dating last summer when Christian settled in London to appear in the West End play Swimming with Sharks.

He told Closer magazine recently that almost six months into their relationship: “She’s a phenomenal woman. She’s fantastic, really fabulous.”

“I’ve never been happier. Hopefully things will keep moving on in the direction they’re going.”

During his tenure as a Hollywood teen heartthrob, Christian had a succession of high-profile relationships with the likes of Winona Ryder, Christy Turlington and Samantha Mathis before marrying Ryan Haddon in 2000. The couple’s divorce was finalised last year and they have two children together, Jaden and Eliana.
