Matt DamonMatt Damon surprised staff at a local cafe last week when he left a $1000 tip on a $5 bill.

Matt had stopped in at the coffee shop near his home in Miami, Florida for a quick drink and refused to have his photo taken with the waiters - but his parting gift more than made up for it.

A member of staff explained: “It’s a nice place with a rich clientele, but this was something else.”

“Matt was really charming and friendly. He made everyone’s day.”
