Zac Efron undergoes emergency surgery for appendicitis
Zac Efron underwent emergency surgery yesterday after complaining of severe abdominal pain.
The High School Musical star was rushed into surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center yesterday morning after the pain was diagnosed as appendicitis - a condition that can be fatal if left untreated.
His spokesperson confirmed the news early yesterday afternoon (local time), explaining: “He had his appendix removed and is recuperating.”
He is expected to be back at work on the set of new film Seventeen within a few days.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Having your appendix taken out is a normal procedure. Just because Zac Efron is a celebrity doesn’t mean he should get extra special treatment. Thousands of ordinary every day people get this done and nobody freaks out over them and how they’re doing. The way people treat celebrities these days is just SO wrong. They’re normal people too.

omg they make it sound really bad and dramatic.
at least he wasnt stared for 3 days and couldnt have anything except orange squash before i had my appendix taken out !!
and i didnt sleep becuase the idiots in the bed next to me wouldnt shut up.
so he should really consider himself lucky that none of this happened to him !!!
