Kate Moss plans tea party and wild night out for 34th birthday
Kate Moss is reportedly planning four separate parties to celebrate her 34th birthday today - kicking off with a civilised afternoon tea with her best friends.
Kelly Osbourne revealed yesterday that she had been invited to join the supermodel and her best friends Sadie Frost & Davinia Taylor at the Dorchester Hotel in London this afternoon for tea and scones: “It’s going to be a ladies’ tea party. It’s certainly very different.”
Later in the evening, the events will get a little more conventional for the party set: they will be joined by more friends for dinner at the hotel’s China Tang restaurant - owned by Kate’s friend David Tang - before moving onto the Punk club in Soho for a theme party, DJed by Kate’s friend drag star Jodie Harsh.
An inside source told the Mirror: “Kate is going all out for a 1920s theme. A fancy dress corner will be set up to encourage guests to throw on some flapper fashion.”
After that, the party guests will trek over to Kate’s new house in St John’s Wood to party the night away.
Despite moving out of her old house in November, Kate only started moving her possessions into the new property this week as it has been undergoing renovations in the mean time and a source told the Daily Mail: “The thinking is that before the house is finished, it doesn’t matter too much if it gets a bit trashed.”
“It’s gong to be a long night.”
