Blake Lively & Leighton Meester cause Gossip Girl on-set tensions
It looks like the on-screen divisions in the Gossip Girl world are reflected off-screen too.
According to the New York Daily News, before the writers’ strike halted production, things were getting tense on the set of the New York teen drama.
An on-set source told the newspaper: “Leighton Meester and Blake Lively avoid each other like the plague while castmates choose sides.”
“Chace Crawford tends to stick close to Leighton, while Penn Badgley hangs on and offscreen with Blake.”
“The crew will snag Blake for a scene just moments before it is shot so they can avoid any awkwardness with Leighton.”

well i pick blake lively’s side! i love love love her. plus if she has penn on her side, then theres no doubt about that! he is so hot. and if blake isnt dating him, i will!
