Eddie Murphy’s controlling behaviour to blame for split?

While others claim pre-nup disagreements, a source close to Tracey Edmonds has said it was without a doubt Eddie Murphy’s temper and attitude that caused the couple to split up just days after their spiritual wedding ceremony at the start of the year.

The couple were married in the beach ceremony in Bora Bora on New Year’s Day but decided to split rather than undergo a further ceremony to make their union legal on their return to the US.

A source close to Tracey has now told the New York Post: “She was happy to sign a prenup - she has her own money. She was very accommodating. She was even willing to change her name to Tracey Murphy, and all the wedding invites and place cards had her labelled as such.”

“But then it was like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Eddie became very controlling and they got into a huge fight.”

The source insists Eddie became bossy, physically intimidating - and demanded that his mother accompany them on their honeymoon: “That was kind of the last straw.”
