Amy WinehouseAmy Winehouse’s dad has reportedly moved in with his famous daughter in an effort to reduce her drug use.

A source close to the family explained that Mitch decided it was his only possible cause of action after his famous daughter refused to enter rehab treatment to get help: “Mitch realises this is crunch time. Amy either chooses life or oblivion.”

“The family have been keeping a very close eye on her for weeks now. In fact, her brother was with her just one hour before she was filmed smoking crack.”

“But Mitch now realises that even this is not enough any more and she needs 24-hour surveillance.”

A second source told the Daily Mail: “He’s asked her to come and live with him until she’s back on the straight and narrow - or ideally, until [her husband] Blake comes out of custody.”

“If Mitch is by her side almost 24/7 he can monitor exactly who she hangs out with and where she does it.”

“Amy may be 24 but as far as Mitch is concerned, she is never too old for a good dose of family TLC.”

Amy is said to have given up drugs for 24 hours after news broke that she had been videoed smoking crack but slipped back into her old ways on Wednesday.

A source close to Amy added: “She wanted to give up after seeing what she’d become but it was too hard. She’s just not strong enough at the moment to get through it on her own but is adamant about going into rehab. Hopefully Mitch’s new plan will work.”
