Despite living in a luxury home in Cheshire with fiance Wayne Rooney, Coleen frequently returns to her native Croxteth in Liverpool to visit old school friends but aside from them, she frequently hangs out Wayne’s Manchester United and England teammates and their partners, and her wedding next year is expected to be a star-studded affair.

She told the Mirror recently: “There’s nothing wrong with having celebrity friends.”

“Trust is a big thing when you’re meeting new friends. You don’t know whether they’re just being friends with you because of who you are.”

“I think that’s why you see a lot of relationships between celebrities - because they can trust each other.”
