Coleen McLoughlin: I beat Wayne Rooney in book sales
Coleen McLoughlin has revealed she won the battle of the books with fiance Wayne Rooney.
The famous couple both released biographies last year but her “Welcome to My World” outsold, Wayne’s “My Story So Far”.
She explained recently: “Both mine and Wayne’s books did really well, but mine stayed at No1 for nearly two months, which was even better than his did.”
She added that friends sometimes mock Wayne about his comparative lack of ‘literary’ success: “Wayne doesn’t mind though. He’s made up about how my book went.”
“I’ve come out from under Wayne’s shadow and made a name for myself, but that’s not something I set out to do.”
“People are beginning to know me as me, but I’ll always be his partner.”
