Lily AllenLily Allen has joked that she’s been using retail therapy to help pull herself together again after her miscarriage earlier in the month.

Lily was around four months pregnant with her first child when she miscarried a fortnight ago but last week returned to work and filmed a pilot show for her new BBC 3 chat show.

In between interviewing Blur’s Alex James and comedian Alan Davies, Lily told the audience that the last few weeks have been difficult but “I’m cheering myself up by shopping for shoes.”
