Miley Cyrus is now officially known as Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus has officially changed her name to Miley Ray Cyrus.
The Hannah Montana star was born Destiny Hope Cyrus but was quickly dubbed “Miley” because she was constantly smiling (”smiley”) as a child and decided to use that as her stage name when she landed the lead in the Disney show when she was 12.
Entertainment Tonight reports she picked her new middle name in honour of her dad and co-star, Billy Ray Cyrus.
