Cheryl ColeCheryl Cole has reportedly moved out of the home she shared with husband Ashley Cole and gone into hiding to consider the future of their marriage.

The Girls Aloud star had initially vowed to stand by Ashley after claims of his infidelity first broke as she believed Ashley couldn’t remember what happened but a later story - which proved Ashley remembered having sex with the other woman - has forced Cheryl to reconsider her position.

A friend of Cheryl’s told the Mirror: “She is finding it harder and harder to look him in the eye.”

Cheryl’s agent insists the couple are “definitely still together” but “there is obviously lots of stuff going on at the moment and Cheryl has gone away for a break to clear her head for a few days.”

Cheryl’s decision to (temporarily) leave came after she spent the day filming a video for the new Girls Aloud single ‘Can’t Speak French’ and is said to have been “in bits” and frequently burst into tears during filming.

But with that in the can, a source close to the group added Cheryl has backed out of all other promotional work for the next few weeks: “She told the girls she can’t handle being interrogated about her marriage.”

“[She] is just bracing herself for more tales of his cheating.”
