I always wondered why Britney Spears spent so much time in fast food restaurant and petrol station bathrooms - in this country at least, they’re a last resort destination alongside those at bus stations with the anti-junkie lighting - but now it’s become slightly clearer : she’s said to have been taking up to 10 laxative tablets a day, when the recommended dose is usually 1 or 2 in a 24 hour period and for no more than three days at a time to avoid developing a dependency.
