Victoria BeckhamDavid Beckham reportedly flew 5000 miles to spend just six hours with wife Victoria Beckham as she prepared for Spice Girls shows in Canada.

According to the People newspaper, the strain of the Spice Girls reunion tour had been getting to Victoria and even though David had been launching a new soccer academy in Brazil, she begged him to travel to Montreal in Quebec to see her.

David chartered a private jet to fly him north but after just six hours together, he had to flew back to their family home in Los Angeles as older sons Brooklyn and Romeo were expected back at school.

A source told the newspaper that Victoria has had enough of the tour and is glad it has finally been announced that the tour is finishing earlier than expected: “Victoria is looking forward to it finishing. She was pretty distraught. She complained to David that the tour has got too much for her. She is a family woman and would rather be at home with her children.”

But even though the quintet has abandoned plans to take their shows to South America, South Africa, Asia and Australia, Victoria still has 15 shows to perform across North America over the next three weeks.

The source added: “She and David had a great time while the band were performing in England but now he is back in America things have got a lot more complicated for them.”

“She is devastated she won’t see David or the kids for weeks. She was very upset when they left. She is counting down the days until the end. It has been tough.”
