Jamie Lynn SpearsJamie Lynn Spears is reportedly set to flee from her mum Lynne Spears‘ Louisiana home in favour of staying with her dad Jamie Spears in Los Angeles.

Jamie Lynn moved to Lynne’s Kentwood estate after news broke in December that the 16 year old was expecting her first child - but according to the National Enquirer, has already had enough.

A source told the publication: “Jamie Lynn is moving to Los Angeles to live with her dad. She wants to be settled in before the baby is born in March or early April — and she wants to be closer to film projects she’d like to start after giving birth.”

Lynne is said to have tried to keep Jamie Lynn out of the public eye as her baby bump grows to avoid fuelling speculation and criticism about the pregnancy, and to keep the Zoey 101 star away from negative influences including Jamie Lynn’s currently hospitalised older sister, Britney Spears.

The source continued that Jamie Lynn is using Britney as an example to justify her own behaviour: “Jamie Lynn knows Britney smoked and drank during her pregnancy - and because Britney’s boys turned out fine, Jamie Lynn thinks her baby will be fine too.”

And Jamie Lynn hopes the move west will allow her to reconnect with boyfriend Casey Aldridge: “Jamie Lynn loves Casey and wants to marry him, but her mom is dead set against it. Jamie Lynn knows that once she’s out from under her mom’s thumb in Kentwood, she and Casey will be together.”
