Amy Winehouse to move in with the Osbournes post-rehab?

Amy Winehouse is reportedly set to move in with Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne after she leaves rehab.

Close friend Kelly Osbourne is said to have prepared the guest cottage at the Osbournes’ Buckinghamshire estate to accommodate Amy as soon as she needs it.

A source told the Mirror: “Kelly has always been there for Amy, they are very tight. When Amy went into rehab, it was Kelly who picked out clothes to take in from her East End flat.”

“At the height of Amy’s drug-taking, Kelly felt a bit pushed out. But she’s patient, she has been there before with her dad and knew this time would come.”

“[Former addict and rehabber] Kelly is probably the most qualified of her pals to help look after Amy - she’s certainly a better influence than Pete Doherty.”

“The cottage is perfect. And there will be no temptations like there are in London. [Plus] the Osbourne’s security is already tight after a spate of break-ins so there is no chance of anyone being able to follow her.”

Amy checked into treatment at the Capio Nightingale clinic in North London a fortnight ago and is said to have undergone a “cold turkey” detox to get over her physical addiction to drugs.

However she may take a trip to the US between rehab and the Osbournes to perform at this weekend’s Grammy Awards - US work visa and doctors’ permission permitting.

The source added: “The visa was due last night. It’s just a decision between Amy and management now.”

“The feeling is that it could be good for Amy. She really wants this.”

“Whenever she’s been on visits out of rehab she has been accompanied by a carer so that will probably be the same on the trip to LA.”

A Grammy source told the New York Daily News that preparations are being made for Amy to perform via a satellite link from London if necessary but there is some doubt amongst the organisers about how prepared Amy will be for the show: “As far as we knew, she wasn’t thinking of doing anything musically. Then all of a sudden it was, ‘I want to go to the Grammys!’”

“She was going to do a medley with Kanye West, but she hasn’t been [able] to practice and he’s moved on. What is she going to do now, crash a rehearsal?”
