Heather Mills to sue former lawyers over misrepresentation
Heather Mills is reportedly planning on suing her former lawyers for misrepresentation in the early part of her divorce proceedings.
Heather is said to have run up £2million in legal bills during the first 18 months of her divorce battle before the firm Mischon De Reya dismissed her as a client following her unauthorised television interviews in November.
The firm has threatened legal action over the debt - which Heather says she can not pay until after her financial settlement from estranged husband Paul McCartney is agreed - but now Heather is said to be planning to countersue for “bad representation”, claiming they failed in their negotiations.
The divorce case will be heard at the High Court in London next week, with Heather representing herself in court.

She appears to be a bit crazy. They did not misrepresent her - she failed to listen to their advice.

True, but really bad mouthed her in the press-therefore damaging her case. They are therefore responsible for any shortfall in her divorce settlement.

However, she obviously did not do herself any favours by reverting to hysterics on TV.
In any case, this could be used as evidence for the deterioration in her mental state since divorce.
