Prince Philip to Prince William: make your mind up about Kate Middleton
Prince Philip has reportedly urged grandson Prince William to “stop dithering” about his relationship with Kate Middleton.
Aside from a brief break last year, William and Kate have been together for over four years but the 25 year old prince is said to want to wait until after he completes his military training before marrying the former fashion buyer.
A source told the People newspaper: “Philip is determined that William must not make the same mistakes as his father.”
“Prince Charles waited until he was 32 to wed and ended up in a disastrous marriage before returning to his first love Camilla. His popularity never recovered.”
“Philip fears that if William keeps Kate hanging on, his popularity could ebb away. He told him all this in a friendly chat.”

It’s a mistake for Prince William to marry Kate just because she wants him so badly (Join the crowds of other women that want Prince William too)…. He must love Kate enough to marry her and be with her FOR LIFE! I must say it was refreshing to see him having good, clean fun with other very nice, very pretty girls. He should really try to explore life a little, rather than let him be trapped or tied down by Kate who has a rather tight grip on him.

They are only 25 and 26! Why do they have to marry right now? If they’re enjoying the relationship, they can simply continue to do so. We don’t know that Middleton is pressing for marriage — that’s tabloid gossip, and anyone who blithely accepts what the tabloids say needs a reality check. I’m tired of seeing this young woman painted as some sort of manipulative, golddigging villainess by people who’ve never met her and never will. Obviously, she’s got something William wants. No one else’s opinion matters.

I’m sure I read the last two paragraphs text a year ago already. Did you just copy and paste it from the last breakup?

No, but there have been several comparisons between father and son before in this vein. For example, in October and July last year. This may be because it’s coming from the same royal source or it may just be because comparisons are inevitable.
People learn how to behalf in relationships from other people and from their parents so William might have nature/nurture inherited his dad’s indecisiveness. It didn’t work out particularly well for Charles so understandably William’s family don’t want that repeated.

It is hard to not think that Kate is a gold digger when she is only famous for dating a prince. She looks much older than Prince William.
