Geri Halliwell and Melanie BrownMelanie Brown has again denied rumours that in-fighting between the Spice Girls is the reason their reunion tour ended early - but she admits that she and Geri Halliwell don’t always see eye-to-eye.

The quintet recently announced that their tour would finish later in the month in Canada rather than proceeding onto South America, South Africa, Asia and Australia as had previously been planned. A few days after the announcement was made, the women released a video explaining they were finishing to return to their families but rumours of tension still persist.

Mel told Grazia magazine recently: “The stories suggesting the end of the tour was anything to do with rows are complete nonsense! We get on better than ever, the girls are my best friends.”

“Everybody knows that Geri and I have had our problems in the past because at one stage we were inseparable and that can never last, but having time apart and then coming together has been incredibly healing. We have a real bond.”

“I tell her when she gets it wrong. In the old days I may have done it in a bitchy way, but it’s much more sisterly now. I want her to look fantastic and get it right.”
