Cheryl Cole puts heartbreak on hold to go clubbing

Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has been taking baby steps back into the limelight after three weeks in hiding.

Cheryl left the marital home she shared with husband Ashley Cole after details of his infidelity came to light. She initially went into hiding with a friend in the south of England before fleeing to Thailand with bandmates Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh last week.

The trio flew to Los Angeles on Friday to join fourth bandmate and city resident Nadine Coyle for the weekend and a wedding ring-less Cheryl was spotted jogging on Saturday afternoon before heading out clubbing at Villa that night.

A source told the Mirror: “Cheryl knows she is going to have to confront Ashley at some point this week when she gets back to the UK but she’ll deal with that as and when. For the first time in ages, she has started to feel better and for now, she just wants to have some fun.”

The women are expected to return to the UK tomorrow ahead of their appearance at the Brit Awards on Wednesday night. The group is nominated in the Best British Group category alongside the Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Editors and Take That.
