Richard HawleyBest British Male Brit Award nominee Richard Hawley has said he’s tempted to retire if he picks up the trophy at tonight’s ceremony tonight.

He told the Sun recently: “It’s the kind of thing that would make me want to retire — quit while you’re winning. Dry-stone walling has always appealed to me.”

“I’ve always enjoyed the underdog status. I’ve never had that much attention so I don’t know if I could cope with a Brits gong.”

“I live in a terraced house - like Coronation Street but in Sheffield - and I’ve got a family and wouldn’t want too much attention on them.”
