Amy WinehouseAmy Winehouse has reportedly caused over £3000 worth of damage to the hotel room she’s been staying in since leaving rehab.

The star is said to be unwilling to return to her home in Bow, East London - where she was videoed smoking crack last month - so has been staying at the Riverbank Plaza Hotel in central London since leaving treatment at the Capio Nightingale Hospital ahead of the Grammys earlier in the month.

According to the Sun, the ‘Back in Black’ star had been unwilling to allow cleaning staff into the suite for privacy reasons but the hotel’s management finally entered while she was performing at the Brits on Wednesday.

A source told the newspaper: “The bed hadn’t been changed since she arrived and most of the room had been used as an ashtray.”

“There was dirty underwear everywhere and the place smelt incredibly stale. She had taken a mirror off the wall and laid it on the floor. One can only guess what for. She’d also taken down all the pictures.”

“The bath had to be scrubbed and unblocked from balls of matted hair.”

“It took three maids two hours to get it in a habitable order.”

The source added that part of the room’s wooden floor had been so damaged by “booze and fag butts” that it’ll have to be replaced at a cost of £3000.

After her performance on at Wednesday night’s ceremony, Amy visited husband Blake Fielder-Civil in HMP Pentonville on Thursday afternoon - her first visit since it was claimed he’d been swapping signed photos of the star for drugs.

A jail source revealed: “Amy arrived at the prison looking a bit of mess. She had bags under her eyes and her make-up was smudged. She looked really tired and it was obvious she’d been up all night boozing.”

“She was in tears as she spoke to Blake. He kept putting his hand on his forehead and at one point it looked as though he was crying too. It was a very tense conversation.”

“Amy stayed the full two hours chatting with Blake and left still looking upset.”

Blake is said to have nearly died after using contimated heroin inside the prison last week.
