Cheryl Cole went back to unfaithful Ashley Cole after the Brits

Cheryl Cole has reportedly decided she will return to her husband Ashley Cole despite his infidelity.

Cheryl moved out of their marital home last month after news broke that he had been unfaithful to his wife of 18 months but according to a source close to the star, she returned to their Surrey mansion ahead of the Brits Awards on Wednesday night.

The source told the Sun: “Cheryl has been away from home for weeks and needed to pick up clean clothes and see her dogs.”

“She didn’t plan to stay but Ashley convinced her they needed time together to talk.”

The pair are said to have had a rather heated conversation before Cheryl had to leave to prepare for the award ceremony but left the red carpet event as soon as she found out Girls Aloud hadn’t won the Best British Group award and returned to their home: “She slept in a separate part of the house from Ashley. [But] he is already telling people he’s won her back.”

“All of her friends think she’s nuts - but she loves the man and can’t see a future without him.”

A second source told the Mirror: “Chezza’s been up and down but she’s finally made her mind up.”

“After meeting with Ashley, she laid down the law and told him in no uncertain terms that if he strays again, there will be no second chance.”

“She told her bandmates on the way to the show that she was seeing Ashley the next day to tell him of her decision.”

She is said to have told them: “I want to make my marriage work.”
