Britney SpearsBritney Spears has seen her sons Sean and Jayden for the first time in nearly two months.

Britney’s visitation rights were suspended after the showdown at her Studio City home on 3rd January which resulted in her first hospitalisation of the year. She is said to have held 18 month old son Jayden hostage for several hours until police working with Kevin Federline’s legal team intervened and Britney was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in an ambulance.

At a hearing earlier in the week, lawyers for both parties failed to reach an agreement regarding court-monitored visits in a “therapeutic setting” but the legal teams finally reached a deal on Friday afternoon, allowing Britney to spend three hours with the boys on Saturday afternoon.

According to reports, strict conditions were attached to the visit and future visits, including the presence of Britney’s dad Jamie Spears and her psychiatrist at all sessions.

A spokesperson for Kevin Federline and his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan confirmed that Jamie Spears is a key player in the development: “Jamie Spears went a long way in terms of stabilising an environment that surrounded Britney which was wildly in flux.”

“It’s clear Britney is in a different place now than she was a week or two ago.”

As a co-conservator, Jamie remains in control of Britney’s financial estate and well-being, and a source added: “Britney was initially resentful of Jamie’s appointment but she’s now working with him instead of against him. Even she can see that he’s turning her life around for her again.”

“She was delighted to see her boys and they were really happy to see their mom again. It was a wonderful afternoon all around.”
