Mischa BartonMischa Barton faces four drink-driving and drug charges following her DUI arrest in December.

Mischa was stopped in the early hours of 27th December after she “was seen straddling two lanes of traffic and failed to signal when making a turn”. According to the arresting police officers’ report, they determined she “was an unlicensed driver and was driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage” and she held at a police station in West Hollywood before being released on a $10,000 bail.

Now the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office has confirmed that Mischa is facing four separate charges: driving under the influence, driving with a blood alcohol level of .08% or higher, driving without a license and possession of marijuana.

A court hearing has been arranged for tomorrow (28th February) at Beverly Hills Superior Court and Mischa’s legal team are expected to push for a plea bargain on behalf of the actress.

Shortly after her arrest, Mischa said: “I’m really disappointed in myself. I’m not perfect and I don’t intend to do anything this stupid again.”
