Pamela AndersonPamela Anderson has changed her mind again about divorcing husband Rick Salomon - now she wants the marriage annulled.

After a whirlwind romance led to a quickee Las Vegas wedding for the friends in October, the pair formerly separated on 13th December with Pamela filing divorce papers but just days later, Pamela insisted they were still working on their relationship.

However, now she’s filed further papers seeking an annulment rather than a divorce, on the basis of “fraud”. In the papers, she asks the court to keep her and Rick’s financial assets separate and to have an out-of-court hearing with a private judge to keep the specific details out of the public eye.

Unlike a divorce, an annulment would mean, legally, that the marriage had never taken place - but can only been sought under specific circumstances. Renee Zellweger had her marriage to Kenny Chesney annulled in 2005, also citing “fraud” but insisted it was “simply legal language and not a reflection of Kenny’s character”. Nicole Kidman’s marriage to Tom Cruise was also annulled, allowing her to remarry within the Catholic church.
