Cheryl Cole to Ashley Cole: we’ll have to move house if I return

The still-indecisive Cheryl Cole has told her husband Ashley Cole that if she won’t even consider returning to him and their marriage unless they move house.

Ashley is said to have told friends that the Girls Aloud star was returning to him and their six-bedroom home in Surrey after a pre-Brits crisis meeting but then after the red carpet event, she flew back to Los Angeles where she was spotted using her maiden name of Tweedy.

A source close to the couple has told the Mirror: “Cheryl is convinced they both need a complete change of scenery as they try and work things out between them.”

“She’s adamant that moving away from their home, where she was first told the news of his infidelity, would go a long way in putting the past behind them.”

“Cheryl also explained that she knows a lot of people in the village and would find it difficult to walk around with her head held high after what’s happened between them.”

“[But] Ashley loves the house - a footballer’s pad is like a trophy in itself.

“Ash loves Cheryl and desperately wants to win her approval again. But it will be a struggle giving up the house of their dreams.”
