Nicole Richie and Harlow Winter Kate MaddenNicole Richie has revealed her six week old daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden for the first time in a photo shoot for People magazine.

People reportedly paid around $1million for the shoot, with new dad Joel Madden also joining the mum and daughter for some family pictures.

Speaking of her new daughter, Nicole explained: “She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose.”

“Now that I look back on it, I was a different person last year than I am now. And listen, sometimes I’ll be here and I’ll think to myself, ‘I used to be fun! What if I’m not fun anymore?’”

“[But] I’m still fun, just not in that way.”
