Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt considering move to France?

With Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt unofficially confirming her pregnancy at the Film Independent Spirit Awards last weekend, new rumours have kicked off regarding the couple’s child-raising plans.

According to the Sun, the Mr and Mrs Smith co-stars have bought a chateau in the south of France after visiting the area last year and are now planning on raising their growing family there, away from the glare of the limelight in Los Angeles.

The couple lived in Paris while Angelina was carrying daughter Shiloh in early 2006 and prompted much speculation that the little girl would be born in the city in honour of Angelina’s mum Marcheline Bertrand’s French heritage. However the family relocated to Namibia for the birth in May 2006.

But after the death of Marcheline in January last year, Angelina has become more of a Francophile.

A source told the newspaper: “Angelina is proud of her French roots and wants her latest addition to be born and raised there.”

The couple are said to have been planning the move for several months, with their oldest son Maddox attending Lycee Francais schools in Prague and New York last year.
